For teenagers, having acne is shocking. Why so? Did you know that 70% of teenagers develop acne? Another thing, acne is not a infection or virus or disease. People will not go away from you if you have acne. What you should do is maintain care of your skin and teenage acne will definitely go away.

Of course if you require to go to an event in your school or a date, you definitely will not want acne getting in your way. There are ways to keep away from developing teenage acne and there are also ways to cover it if it is already there.

How to keep away from developing teenage acne?

Clean and clear skin does not have acne, but of course it does not say acne not at all appeared anytime in that face. For teenagers to keep away from acne, diligently taking care of the skin is essential.

• Wash your face two times a day with gentle facial wash. Avoid harsh soaps that may irritate your skin.
• If you must use makeup, choose the ones for your type of skin. If you are prone to shiny face, you are oily. There are oil-free makeup you could find.
• Dampen your skin, better yet, drink 8 glasses of fresh water. Water is very fine to your skin. It hydrates the skin and it helps keep it healthy. If you must use moisturizer, choose water-base moisturizers.
• Use sunscreen, sun contact is injurious to your young skin, sun defense is therefore necessary.

How to take care of your skin if you have teenage acne?

• Clean your face with gentle facial wash, once in the morning and once at night before going to bed.
• Keep away from irritating your skin by touching, pricking or rubbing your acne. It will cause disease.
• Use antibiotics or benzoyl peroxide to dry your teenage acne. It will clear in a couple of weeks. Not at all prick your teenage acne, if you do it will scar. You would not want that, do you?
• If you sense that your acne if getting bad, ask help from your family doctor. He will make out how to treat your face to avoid scarring.
